An Onam to Remember Forever!

Kairali of Balitmore, after a hiatus of one year due to the pandemic, celebrated Onam with all its pomp and the many elements of Kerala’s tradition and culture. The beautiful chendamelam, Mahabali procession and Thiruvathira, along with the mesmerizing synchronization of a boat race, and the gorgeous floral arrangements, Kairali made its imprint on one of its most important cultural celebrations. At the time of the year, when the summer retreats from our midst, the atmosphere is charged in celebration with the advent of the festival.

The diverse cultural programs along with the sponsor recognitions were magnificent. The Onam Souvenir Magazine was exemplary in its content and look. With their traditional attire – men wearing the customary white dhoti-kurta, while womenfolk dawn their traditional Kasavu/set saris, the 300 plus people enjoyed seeing each other and wishing each other Happy Onam. Along with the DJ the grand Onasadhya was held outdoors. Everyone attended thanked the Kairali committee for organizing such a memorable event during this challenging time.
